When I first started investing in crypto I used my normal email address. The Bittrex exchange was supposed to send me an important email, after four days of waiting I remembered I had a junk folder.
And there was the email.
It gets hard to sort through all the stupid random emails I get and notice the important ones. Emails from exchanges are ones you do not want to miss.
It happened to me.
This is why I recommend setting up a new email address strictly for your crypto investments.
It is so much easier to look at emails that only deal with your investing. It will save you time and energy.
