Welcome to bit better, have my money and man, what, what a day, what a day. We’re back home. We’re not a hotel anymore. We just got home about an hour and a half ago. But it was. Oh man, it was, I, it was nuts. So I have to. She got surgery obviously and um, well not obviously but anyway, she got surgery and I have to, she has a drainage tubes and I have to have to empty them and clear them and, and I’m not sure exactly what happened. It got clogged or something but it’s like we’re doing that. It, it comes undone and sprays me in the face API growth. Oh my God. Oh it’s not good. I don’t like that. Stuff like that, that, that is not. I don’t like other people’s. No, no thank you. Yeah. So that, that happened and then we went to panda express, which is like a fast food kind of Chinese place if you haven’t seen.
[01:06] It’s really good. We, we only have a few in the state, in South Dakota here, but the era we liked them and we go there like at 12, 10 and yeah, they don’t, they don’t have any chicken Teriyaki, so whatever. Okay. She needed something plain, so we’re like, okay, we’ll just give us this in some steamed rice. Yeah, we don’t have any steamed rice. So like out of curiosity, I’m like, it is noon on a Saturday and you guys don’t have any rice. Yeah, we just don’t have any rice. Like how do you. So yeah, that happened. Then I get home, it’s 100 degrees here and I’m like, yeah, let’s just mold Alon. Why not get done with. And the lawnmower quit on me. So half the lawn mowed, of course it’s the half of the front and then half of the back is mode. So both sides are half done.
[01:57] Awesome. Awesome. So that, that sort of I think puts me, puts me in the perfect mood to talk about this. I do not know. How many of you have seen fight club if you have not seen it, go watch it. It is one of my all time favorite. I can’t even tell you how many times I’ve watched it. I got really into, in college. I watch it probably twice a year, minimum. I’m so good. And it’s Brad Pitt is the man in it. Edward Norton. I’m so good. But go check it out. So I love that movie. And I kind of started thinking about that and in crypto and I kind of came to the conclusion that crypto is our project. May Him. Um, so let’s, let’s backtrack here a little bit. Give you some backstory just in case you have not seen this movie, but one of the reasons I. There’s more than one reason, but the fighting that, acting the dialogue, I just, I love that movie and it’s, it stuck with me over the years and as I’ve gotten older, 34, almost 35.
[03:08] Um, what I’ve liked about it has changed. And the one thing that’s really stuck with me through out the entire time is the feeling of not conforming to society standards and that that’s kind of something I’ve taken from that movie. And I’ve read the book and that’s just kind of stuck with me the whole time, you know, we’re told what to buy, what to wear, what to eat by advertising, everything around us. People we’re told what is money and the value of it from the moment we’re born. And crypto is changing that. And that is why I believe crypto is our project mayhem. So what, what is project mayhem? Uh, in fight club, Tyler Durden, Brad Pitt’s character eventually gathers the most devoted fight club members, informed project mayhem, which is an organization that trains itself as an army to bring down modern civilization. Now, crypto has the ability to bring down modern civilization, civilization.
[04:13] And now you’re probably like, Whoa, that is a bit extreme, don’t you think? And I. Yes, yes. That, that is, that, that’s extreme. And I’m not saying, I’m not saying we need to bring down modern civilization. No, no, no. That’s not what I’m getting at. But why? Why can’t we tweak it? What, why not? Why? Why is that? That’s not bringing it down. We’re just tweaking it. Changing. It changes how we think things should be a little bit. Um, you know, we’ve been given the ability with crypto to change how things work, how things are done, we can change how money works. And as the old saying goes, money is what makes the world go round. I’m sure most of you, if not all, have, have heard that it’s pretty, pretty common. Sane, you know, banks, institutions, governments, they’re very, very, very aware of crypto and how it can change things and we just, we just need to start seeing that.
[05:19] Maybe don’t look so small in scope. Maybe think bigger. Realize that we have the opportunity to create change. We can start using crypto, we can invest in it, we can push things forward, start businesses. There’s all sorts of things we can do and that is sort of what project may him was or is in the movie. They are the normal people, the normal class and they start changing things. Granted, granted the, they blow up a bunch of buildings to get rid of the debt, get rid of people’s debt, which isn’t a bad, bad thing. They go after corporate, which is, does this sound familiar, like crypto it changing, going after corporate America, making them worry and in, in the movie the project have members. Yeah. They start from the bottom and they just get a very big movement from. Sounds like a grass roots campaign campaign right now.
[06:16] It doesn’t it. But anyway, that, that is how I think crypto is, is our project mayhem. We, we have the opportunity to create change and do things differently and we just got to kind of see that. Um, you know, at first, obviously I think I’ve talked about before, I just was, I saw it for the money, but I do see that it is the ability it’s going to, I think give me a chance to life that I didn’t think I would be able to get anymore. Uh, it’s gonna take some work to do it, but I believe I can, I can now get what I thought was, was not allowed. You don’t want in a quote from that. I’ve always, I’ve always remembered from fight club is, is this, is we’ve all been raised on television to believe that one day we’d all be millionaires and movie gods and Rockstars, but we won’t and we’re slowly learning that fact and we’re very, very pissed off.
[07:15] Now. I can’t do it. I can’t do it like Brad Pitt, obviously. Fuck. If I could then uh, that’d be awesome. And uh, but that thing when I was in college or going into college, it was basically said, you know, go to college, get a degree, you have a great plane paying job. So I thought, all right, well go to college. I got a degree and then the economy crashed and I did not get a good paying job and that, that was, it just seems like maybe we were left out a little bit and maybe everyone feels that way and that’s just how it is, but kind of sucks. And the crypto has kind of given me a way to feel like I can control where I’m going, what I’m doing. And I love it and I hope people of come to embrace it like I have.
[08:12] And many other people have so you could come join Tyler Durden, me and many others. Maybe. Maybe I am tyler durden. I don’t know. You guys don’t know. Maybe, maybe I’m. Maybe I’m just in your head. Well, I guess if you’re listening to this, I am in your head, so maybe, maybe, maybe, maybe we should go get some ideas from people. Um, you, you, if you’ve never seen the movie, you won’t get that reference, but you’re obviously welcome to come join the crypto. May Him with that.
